Jenkins' new novel, “Dead Sea Conspiracy.” We find ourselves immersed in political intrigue and drama through parallel story lines which encompass New York City and the Middle East. Although separated by 4,000 years these stories are surprisingly related, having the potential to change world history in a most powerful and possibly dangerous way. Jenkins develops the characters and plots in an artful manner which certainly keeps the reader interested and wanting more. Short chapters are used which help to keep the multiple story lines moving, without losing the essence of the existing characters as more are introduced and developed. As the drama gradually increases in intensity we are launched back and forth through time. Keeping us on the edge of our seats we are sent down some unforeseen paths, twists are encountered, questions are instigated, until finally the ultimate surprises are released!
I enjoy short chapters and loved reading this book! Jerry B. Jenkins did a great job which gradually kept me wanting more. Once started it is actually hard to put the book down. I have one problem; now I have to wait for the next one in the series!
