Author and speaker JEFF D. REETER pursues life by design as an entrepreneur, servant leader and strategist. His mission in organizational leadership is wholly developing teams of champions dedicated to excellence in serving others. He is often heard up and down the halls of his financial firm (Northwestern Mutual) saying, “Seek first to serve, love, care, matter, make a difference and be a catalyst in the life of another person and see if everything else doesn’t work out for you.”
Jeff is married to Cindy and enjoys outdoor adventures (hiking, fishing, hunting, etc.) and spending time at the Reeter Ranch with their family and friends.
Many people spend lots of time planning a vacation; in fact, I dare say that there are those that may spend years in preparation for that one special vacation. And yet these same people do not give any thought to life preparations. Goals are not written, advice is not sought, vision is not found, decisions are haphazardly made, life in general is uneventful and ordinary. God has designed us with a unique plan in mind for our lives, and gives us the personality, gifting, talents, and resources to accomplish that plan. God designs originals and He does not want copycats.
Jeff Reeter truly recognizes the uniqueness of God's created masterpieces. In his new book, Do Life Differently, he lays out helpful life principles based on his experiences in a way which attempts to help the readers live their lives as he is living his, by design, rather than by some mundane, repetitious routine. Through his leadership prowess Jeff leads the reader into a plan of self discovery. He uses questions and exercises to help guide the reader to the point of formulating a plan which may help in promoting authenticity. Living a life that is extraordinary, the best life that God has designed you to live, is the ultimate goal!
Chapter 11 is my favorite chapter. When I start the second read of this book I am going to start with this chapter and then go back to the beginning and do a complete reread.
