Jill Roman Lord is an award-winning author and a nurse anesthetist. She won her first writing award in first grade and has written ever since. Her many children’s books include If Jesus Lived Inside My Heart, One Night in Bethlehem, and God Made You Just Right. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, and enjoys running with her golden retriever, golfing with her husband and son, sipping coffee with her girls, and traveling.
We're living in difficult times where the uncertainty of the future looms large. It is a time where kids are being let down and in may cases their dreams broken. After the book is opened the very first page is a gift page indicating TO:________and FROM: ________. Before we even begin reading the book our little ones get the message that they are precious!
Through rhyming words and beautiful illustrations children are exposed to the idea of limitless opportunities that are bound only by their dreams. Powerful messages of self worth, feeling loved, dreaming BIG, and trusting God, drive the focus of this book. I can't wait to give it to my 3 year old granddaughter. She loves being read to and I am so excited that I will be the first to cuddle up with “my Precious One” and announce the words on these pages to her. She is going to love it!
