Everyone does it, and it happens every day. Many try to stop it while countless others try to slow it down. Many fear it, others dread it, some are in denial, and “the few” embrace it. Worrying isn't effective, and ignoring it doesn't make it stop. The successful accept it willingly, prepare themselves, and enjoy their lives along the way. I'm referring of course to the aging process.
In her new book, “How To Age Without Getting Old,” Joyce Meyer hits the aging process head on as she explores the preparations we need to make, in order to effectively navigate the inevitable, and achieve the best results possible in the easiest way possible. Aging doesn't have to be more challenging than it needs to be, and we should be enjoying all the years that God gives us. Joyce takes us through the steps that we can take today that will help us to stay young for the rest of our lives.
Taking care of yourself is the best investment of your time that you can make! This book will encourage you not to squander future benefits by wasting the present. Joyce makes every effort to impress upon us the importance of prayer, and making God a partner in the success of our health. Both practical and spiritual aspects of your life are important, and the Holy Spirit wants to be your guide. Keeping God first must be your priority!
This book is an easy read which makes it enjoyable. The information presented may make it easier to embrace the aging process, rather than approaching it negatively. Joyce includes statement boxes throughout the book which are highlighted portions from the respective sections where they are found. This makes reviewing important statements very easy.
